West Glamorgan shown within Wales
West Glamorgan (Welsh: Gorllewin Morgannwg) is a former county in south Wales. It was created in 1974 and included four local government districts, Swansea, Lliw Valley, Neath and Port Talbot

The county was abolished in 1996, and replaced with two unitary authorities: Swansea and Neath Port Talbot. West Glamorgan was retained for ceremonial purposes as a preserved county.

It is part of the South Wales Police area.
